Two local businesses in the frame for Surrey Digital Awards

February 2018

Central Farnham marketing and communications agency, KPC Creative Communication has been short-listed for the Surrey Digital Awards for the second year in a row.

The company is a finalist in the Tourism category for its work on the Grayshott Pottery website. Grayshott Pottery is one of the area’s leading tourism attractions and posted exceptional growth figures towards the end of last year – much of which is down to the re-vamped website, improved social media presence and targeted marketing campaigns.

The pottery offers events and courses, a café and an artisan emporium, and has been working closely with KPC Creative Communication to produce a significant increase in sales across all aspects of the business in the past 12 months.

  • 500 extra sales in the Emporium
  • Pottery sales up 3.5%
  • Café sales up 20%
  • Events participation up by 200%

The company has been so impressed by the results, that it has retained KPC to work on its sister brand, Surrey Ceramics, which designs and hand-makes tableware for the restaurant industry, including big names like Jamie Oliver and Wagamamma.

Deborah Kingsley, MD at KPC Creative Communication said, “We strongly believe that the Farnham area is full of ambitious, interesting and exciting businesses, and it’s great to be able to combine our skills to help companies like Grayshott Pottery and Surrey Ceramics get the profile, recognition and business success they deserve.”

Delighted to see these successes also being recognized by the local media, with the nomination being featured in the 22nd February edition of the Farnham Herald.
