Surrey tourist attraction, Grayshott Pottery, enlisted our help to progress them into the modern world through the design and build of their online shop.
We’ve been supporting Grayshott Pottery with their marketing for close to a year. Over that time KPC’s focus has been on improving overall brand awareness and enhancing Grayshott Pottery’s reputation as a tourist attraction. This consisted of social media support, event promotion and a local media strategy, as well as the design and build of a smart new website showcasing all they have to offer.
With an ongoing local marketing strategy producing positive results and the main site generating new visitors and enquiries, we turned our attention to Grayshott’s unique feature; the pottery.
As one of the few remaining working potteries in the South of England, we recognised through research and reports that their handcrafted ceramics, including the prestigious Dartington Pottery, was sought after not only locally, but nationally. Therefore Grayshott Pottery needed to cater for that audience.
They enlisted our help to develop an Ecommerce website on WordPress which would integrate with their existing site, to showcase their stunning pottery ranges and increase sales. Through market research and using our useful SEO tools, we created a WooCommerce online shop which not only displayed their masterpieces, but also appealed to both existing and new customers. Through clever but clear product categorisation and good use of key phrases, we ensured the online shop could be easily navigated and found by their target audiences.
Grayshott Pottery website visitors tripled within the first two weeks after go live and their average basket spend, which was one of our main objectives to improve, more than doubled.
